Albert S. Nettuno, 86, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Thursday. Born in Brooklyn and raised in West Babylon, he made his home in the Syracuse area in 2016.
A proud U.S. Army Veteran, Albert dedicated much of his life to hard work and his passions. He spent over 18 years as a bartender at Bally’s Casino in Las Vegas, where he was known for his warmth and camaraderie. In addition, Albert was the owner of Daesireena Gun Co. in Las Vegas which he named after his beloved daughters. An avid gun collector and antique car enthusiast, he took great joy in restoring classic automobiles, a hobby that reflected his patience and craftsmanship.
Above all, Albert was a devoted father who raised his two daughters on his own, instilling in them the values of love, resilience, and family. To him, family was everything.
Albert will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Albert was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Antoinette Nettuno; brother, Raymond Nettuno; and sister, Frances Old.
Surviving are his daughters, Desiree Nettuno of Baldwinsville and Dana Peters of San Diego, CA; sister Adeline Fraser of Port Richey, FL; and grandchildren, Brendan, Carissa, and Alexander Salucci.
There will be no calling hours.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 9 a.m. in Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr., Syracuse.
Burial will be private.
