Agnes K. Whipple, 86, formerly of Delmar, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2009 in Manlius. Born in New York on Wednesday, November 29, 1922, she was the daughter of William Thompson Kennedy and Janet Gordon Camp Kennedy. She was raised in New York City and lived in Rochester before moving to the Albany area. Agnes graduated from Spence School and was employed 10 years with The Friendly Nursing Home in Rochester. She enjoyed knitting, sewing and quilting. She cherished her family very much. Agnes was predeceased by her husband, DeForest T. Whipple; and brother-in-law, Chuck Whipple. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Charles Perkins of Camillus; son, Bill and JoAnn Whipple of North Seminole, Florida; grandchildren, Lisa Perkins, Melissa Pensabene and Kyle and Brittany Whipple; and four great-grandchildren.
