Adrian M. Tennant, 45, of Bedford, NH, formerly of Syracuse, passed away Friday, October 18, 2019. Born in Fayetteville, NC, he lived in New Hampshire since 2015. An Army veteran, Adrian served several tours in Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Bosnia and Korea. He worked at the National Training Center in Fort Irwin, CA. A graduate of Nashau South High School, he earned his bachelor’s degree from SU and was employed with Fidelity Investments for five years.
Adrian was an avid New England sports fan, especially the Patriots and Bruins, and he never missed a game. He enjoyed playing online games and was a history buff. Adrian was especially fond of reading science fiction novels, watching action movies, fishing in the Salmon River, listening to music and loved a good beer, especially Sam Adams! He loved spending time with his two daughters, teaching them everything they know about technology. Adrian enjoyed horseback riding with his youngest daughter, Brady every Sunday, walking trails with his oldest daughter, Gianna, taking them to different playgrounds, getting ice cream and trying new places to eat. He loved playing board games on family game night, watching movies and visiting beaches along the Maine seacoast and Odiorne Point State Park in Rye, NH. Adrian was an excellent cook and made the best lobster rolls around.
Surviving are his wife of 18 years, the former Lynn Hirel; daughters, Gianna and Brady Tennant; sister, Lisa (John) Felix of Shirley, MA; brothers, Christopher Tennant of Fort Stewart, GA and William Tennant of Boston, MA; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many aunts and uncles.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, October 24 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Services will be Friday, October 25 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Adrian will be laid to rest in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
