Ada Caldwell Clark, 98, of Williamsburg, Virginia and formerly of Syracuse, passed away Monday, May 25, 2009. Born in New Carlisle, Quebec, Canada on Sunday, December 18, 1910, she was the daughter of Robert Caldwell and Anabelle Morrison Caldwell. A resident of Syracuse for 65 years, she lived in St. Petersburg, Florida before moving to Williamsburg, Virginia 15 years ago. Ada was a member of Bruton Parish Church in Williamsburg, Virginia and a former member of Fairmount Community Church in Syracuse. She enjoyed gardening and reading. Ada was predeceased by her husband, Alfred; daughter, Margaret Clark Woolfolk; three sisters and a brother. Surviving are her son, George Clark of Fort Worth, Texas; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2009 in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners with Rev. Gary Ferner of Fairmount Community Church officiating.
