Our Mission Statement
The mission of Buranich Funeral Home, Inc. is to provide service
beyond expectations and remain Connected, Committed and Caring
to those we serve.
Pride in the Past
In 1974, Samuel S. Buranich, Jr. purchased a landmark building on West Genesee Street in Camillus, a short drive from Syracuse. It was formerly the Lone Acre Tourist Home, operated by Charles and Ethel Dygert.
Retaining the stately colonial-style exterior, Mr. Buranich established his family funeral home with a deep commitment to helping his neighbors all around Syracuse in times of loss with personal attention, caring, and compassion.
In 2000, his son, Samuel III, joined the firm after earning his degree in Mortuary Science at SUNY Canton. Today, the firm offers the Camillus community a staff of your neighbors, all committed professionals who are ready to assist and support you at any time of the day or night.
If you've experienced a loss, or are planning in advance, we are here for your each step of the way. Planning a funeral is an emotional and sometimes overwhelming thing and having the right information can make things easier.
It is our mission to serve families in their time of need and welcome any questions you have.
